One-Time Fees and Annual Tuition Fees

As one of the leading international schools in Tokyo, details of our one-time fees and annual tuition fees are designed to provide clear and transparent information for all applicants.

 

One-Time Fees

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of 22,000 JPY is payable upon submission of your application. This fee covers the cost of all administrative activities related to the admissions process in Japan.

Registration Fee

A non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee of 300,000 JPY per child.

Building Development Fee

A non-refundable building development fee of 742,000 JPY per child applies to all pupils enrolled for the 2026-27 academic year.

Facility Maintenance Fee

A non-refundable annual Facility Maintenance Fee of 277,500 JPY is payable from a pupils second year of enrolment.

Payment

All fees must be paid in Japanese yen (JPY) and can be settled via bank transfer. Detailed payment instructions will be provided by the school’s Finance Office.

Special Admissions Policy for Expatriate Families from Multinational Companies

As part of our mission to build an internationally diverse and culturally rich learning community in Japan, Malvern College Tokyo actively welcomes globally minded corporate partners. To support expatriate families of multinational companies joining us in our founding years, we offer a Fee Remission Policy.

Eligible families may receive a tuition fee remission of 10% to 20% for three years, depending on the level of partnership or contribution made by their organisation in Japan.

We seek collaborative partnerships with a wide range of companies and organisations—including start-ups, major corporations, public service sectors, and non-profit organisations, working in areas such as:
AI, data science, research, technology, VR, environment & sustainability, design, engineering, entertainment, finance, and retail.

Potential areas of collaboration include:

  • Guest speaking and mentoring
  • Joint research projects
  • Job shadowing, career training or internships for alumni
  • Community service initiatives
  • Co-hosted events.
