Mr. Baniel Cheung is a serial entrepreneur and the Founder and Principal Strategist of Integral Consulting Asia Limited. Regarded as one of the leading strategists in business and digital transformation, he provided management consultancy, strategic planning, brand building, executive training, and marketing research services to clients across Asia and beyond. Mr. Cheung has previously served as Partner and Hong Kong Representative for Ginza West, supporting the brands expansion from Japan into the Hong Kong market. He has also held a range of leadership roles including Chairman of MSK Snooker Academy, Chief Strategy Officer of Mapxus Technology, Partner at Snapask Japan and Partner at Spaceship, supporting their business development across Hong Kong, Japan, and Asia.
Mr. Cheung currently serves of an advisor for Pasona Group Japan and was previously a consultant for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Business Development Centre Tokyo (Hong Kong Office). He is also a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Brand Development Council, the Hong Kong Brand List Steering Committee of Chinese Manufacturers’ Association, and the Academic Liaison Committee of the US-based CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Council.
With more than 30 years’ experience in global and Hong Kong listed technology companies, including Hong Kong Telecom CSL, Wharf T&T, New World Telecom and New Digital System, Mr. Cheung has successfully supported brand-building and market expansion throughout Asia Pacific including in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Mr. Cheung holds a master’s degree in marketing management from the Macquarie University and an honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney. He served as President of Sydney University Alumni Association in Hong (2010-2011) and has twice received the ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’; from HKU SPACE (2006) and from the University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Business and Economics (2013-2014)
